Whether you know them as pedicabs, rickshaws, bike taxies, tri-shaws or pedal cabs, Handlebar Taxi Company is a human powered transportaion service in the scenic town of Seward, Alaska.

What We Do

For $10 dollars a mile:

We provide an adventurous and green alternative to the more mundane forms of transport.  With a route that follows the waterfront for nearly the entire length of the town, we can take you where standard taxis and the trolley cannot.

Reducing your carbon footprint has never been so vacationy.  Ride in the back and listen to the sea lions breathe and the baby sea otters calling to their mothers.  And if the going is not too steep, we can tell you a little about this town's history and happenings.

For $25 dollars an hour: 

You can experience historic waterfront tours with detailed information and some really amusing lies.
